May panata ako dati, "di ako mgtuturo, ayaw ko maging guro". Alam kung marangal at kagalang-galang ang kanilang trabaho subalit ayaw kung matulad sa mga magulang ko. Kinain ko ata ang aking binitawang salita kasi sa kasalukuyan, ako po ay isang guro..
Minsan, naitanong ko sa kaklase ko, ano ba ang pinagka-iba ng "instructor" sa "teacher", at ito ang simpleng sagot nya.. "teachers, u are not just giving them the knowledge that they need but u must develop their values as well. At all cost, u must serve as a model and good example for students to follow. While instructor, u are just instructing them how to get the knowledge that they will be needing"
oo nga naman.. ang laki nga ng pinagka-iba ng trabaho ko sa trabaho ng mga magulang ko (na parehong teacher sa hyskul), and im very thankful about that. at least kahit papaano, merong detour ang paths namin. Naging HS teacher din ako (ngee... mukhang tama ata si mama.. hehe) ng isang taon, at laking sakripisyo ang aking nagawa. "How am i going to make my students understand quantum mechanics?"...ambisyosa ata ako, kasi first meeting namin ng mga 4th year HS students.. initroduced ko na ang Theory of Relativity. Amazed silang lahat, sabay nganga, nosebleed.. First impression last ata kasi hanggang ngtapos ang school year, nosebleed pa rin ang subject na physics para sa kanila.
Pagkatapos na HS experienced, na-absorbed ako sa college. Yehey! laking tuwa ko.. kasi nga dinivelop ako bilang researcher at college instructor at di HS Teacher.. dami ko pa palang dapit kunin na educ units bago ako maging qualipikadong HS teacher.. pero di ko na concern un... not interested!.sorry! hehe..
so, eto na nga, instructor na ako at kabilang sa mga kasaganaang aking natatamasa:
1. yehey!. .walang lesson plan, syllabus at course description lang ang kelangan, pwede na go!go! teach!
2. papasok ako sa klase, lecture-lecture-nosebleed-lecture... get 1/4 sheet of paper seat-work ng 45 mins.. after that.. ring ang bell.. then end ang 1 hr and 30 mins na class.. sa friday na naman ..hehehe
3. ito pinakagusto ko, lab period.. ok class, kindly write the things that u need here in the borrower's slip, then procure the apparatus from the stock room... then read the instructions in your manual, and submit the manual after u are finished in my table.. sa dept.. katong gubot na dghan libro.. mao to ako lamesa.. understand!... and sometimes, si maam mato-tour sa loob ng klase, sign na manual.. para check attendance daw.. hehehe.. ang saya
4. ang paper ipapacheck na lang sa mga TA and then record n lng ako.. yehey!. .saya uli..
5. at eto, the best...mglalakad sa kalye na nakapmbahay attire pa.. meron biglang.. HI maam!... hello din reply ni maam.. then.....kinsa gani to sya?.. tigmind... and tomorrow sa class.. walang issue.. ehhehehe
but aside sa aking kasaganaan, i have to thank much the institution that i am currently connected... i am so happy being here.... and i know my students, well, i have teach them well.. and so my happiness.. makikita naman sa picture..
