28. tigabutang ug sapatos sa kabayo

This time i decided to write this in bisaya...

Daghan man jud diay kabajo (kabayo) sa baguio.

27. Nagpaparent ng Costume

This year's SPVM was in Baguio City. We arrived 1 day ahead from our pals and had nothing to do so my students and I decided to have a tour within the city. We went to the usual tourist destinations like Camp john Hay, Strawberry Farm (La trinidad, benguet) , the mansion, botanical garden and mines view park. Being so excited with "what can we see" at the famous mines view park, we immediately went inside, however the smell of the "bulad na pusit" made us stop and just could not resist its tempting invitation to have a bite so we bought some for P15.00 and continued walking down.

Igorot costumes

We were attracted with the red-green Igorot costume and just to know how it feels to be an igorot even for a while, we decided to rent a costume for a price of P10.00/person. Its a complete apparel (costume + props).

Karl- feeling igorot

Nice business i thought, since Baguio City is a crowded place, there will always be people just like us who would like to wear traditional clothing.. (souvenir purposes)

I was thinking how would the owner look like if he wears one (the bahag ang ako pasabot), but then maybe its not part of the package .. since he's not wearing traditional clothing ..kitamS!

But then i had a nice souvenir with some students wearing the traditional igorot clothes.. see? murag wala sila gitugnaw...:-)
